Hi Freaks,
I know we have flogged this dead horse enough, but I had a question:
Which is a good book for learning C and it's use with embedded micros esp. AVR? I saw many books on Amazon but all of them were either totally C or totally microcontrollers. Any good book which links the two? (e.g. shows how to use micro memory and C). Thanks.

K&R

(what's this got to do with GCC anyway?)

Learn C, then learn micros on C... so start with K&R and then maybe get smiley's book to learn the AVR specific stuff.

Extensions for micros are non-standard, so you really need to pick a platform and learn it.
