Is it a bug that the frequency is stuck to 4 MHz in the debugger/simulator? Or is there an invincible setting that I'm not aware of? Apparantly I cant get set it to another value.
I'm using the latest beta of studio (4.13 build 524) with winavr from april last year. (I'm not sure if the newer one of this years works, perhaps someone could elaborate on this).

Cheers,

Nick

Hi

No problem here.

I assume that you assemble the code.
Then go to the Debug menu & click on AVR Simulator Option.
There you can change the frequency.

Yup I can change it here too in 5.13.524 - you can either pick one of the given speeds in the drop list or, because the top box is a text edit, you can type in any "odd" frequency value you like.

By the way, what were you expecting it to change? The only use of the value you enter here is in calculating the time display in the Stopwatch of the simulator. It multiplies the cycle count up by the inverse of the frequency you enter (that is the clock period)

Yeah,

Thanks! That was it.
