I'm thinking of doing a project that would involve connecting a microcontroller to a bluetooth keyboard.
Bluetooth keyboards are easy to get. The problem is on the microcontroller end of the link. I can easily find bluetooth serial port modules, but not HID modules.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I could get an easy to use module without having to buy a thousand of them? I'll probably only need one or two modules, maybe a dozen at most if this works out.

The Bluegiga modules are great; check out the WT12:

For more information, create an account at techforum.bluegiga.com and pull the datasheet from techforum.bluegiga.com/wt12?downloads#1.0. Don't be too worried about the account approval process, I got the 'approval' email about 15 seconds after registering.

The Bluegiga modules do much more than just serial ports; they can be configured for almost every profile (including HID).

They're available for $26.66 in singles at Mouser:
I think that this link should pull up the current offerings.
