Any bascom users out there that know if I can use the standard serial and uart commands with the tiny26. The datasheet says the tiny26 uses a universal serial interface. How does this differ from UART in 2313?

If I could use the tiny26 as I would the 2313 for UART communications, I would benefit from also having the adc's in it.

It works OK, you shouldn't have any problems that I know of.
BASCOM hides all the ugly stuff you you don't have to deal with it.
The thing I hate about the Tiny26 was they put so much stuff in on the I/O pins that the UART is on, that if you use the UART, you can't use PWM on the pins, etc.
What they did was cram a whole bunch of stuff into a few pins, which means you can only use one thing at a time on those pins.
