Hello,

Has anyone used the ATMEGA8515 with AVRDUDE?

I tried to add the part to the conf. file when I tried to program the part I get the following response:

C:\winavr>avrdude -c pw -p m85 -i test.hex

AVRDUDE: AVR device initialized and ready to accept instructions
AVRDUDE: Device signature = 0x1e9301
AVRDUDE: reading input file "test.hex"
AVRDUDE: input file test.hex auto detected as Intel Hex
AVRDUDE: writing flash (4546 bytes):
4545
AVRDUDE: 4546 bytes of flash written
AVRDUDE: verifying flash memory against test.hex:
AVRDUDE: reading on-chip flash data:
4545
AVRDUDE: verifying ...
AVRDUDE: verification error, first mismatch at byte 0x0000
0x5c != 0x00
AVRDUDE: verification error; content mismatch

AVRDUDE done. Thank you.

Yes, when I erase the part a "dump flash 0 100" returns all ffs.

After the program command the "dump flash 0 100" returns:

AVRDUDE: AVR device initialized and ready to accept instructions
AVRDUDE: Device signature = 0x1e9301
avrdude> dump flash 0 100
>>> dump flash 0 100
