Hi,

I have interfaced a 169P with the Maxim 44000 Proximity Sensor and it works fine using the “USI_TWI_Master.h” and “USI_TWI_Master.c” drivers. When I migrate it to the 324PB all heck breaks loose when I build. I guess I have to edit the drivers for the 324PB. Does that make sense?  Anyone have that experience. I am new to the 324PB and am testing it out.

A quick look at the M324P DS and I see it has a TWI (two wire interface), not a USI interface, so yes you will need new drivers for I2C, may I suggest Peter Fleury's I2C code.

Jim,

Will do, I should have done that in the first place. Thanks for directing me to the 324PB DS for the I2C details and the links for the drivers. I'll let you know how I make out.
