Hi,

I have installed all of the stock avr binaries on my kubuntu box (AMD64) however avr-gcc does not seem to support the avr32.
I have tried downloading the dapper and breezy binaries from amtel eg.
deb http://www.atmel.no/beta_ware/av... binary/
but these will not install on my machine.

What do I need?

Thanks

Correct, the avr binaries are separate from the avr32 binaries.

What errors do the binaries from atmel betaware give you? I had them installed on my Kubuntu Feisty box without an issue.

I don't know whether the debs at that location have been updated to use gcc-4.1.2 yet, if not, grab the package from here: http://atmel.com/dyn/products/to... . Unpack to a folder and install the debs within with a

sudo dpkg --install --recursive *.deb

These are the debs I currently have installed on my Kubuntu Feisty box, let us know how you go!

Oh, and of course remember to install all your host compilation utilities, eg

sudo apt-get install build-essential
