hi,
I am having a problem with application note 910.
I have tried to implement the firmware on another controller that I have.
I suspect it to be the UART setup.
Can someone tell me or lead me to the documentation for AVRPROG.EXE
Right now when I run it is says "No supported board found".
The chip I have already has a UART so I am needing to setup the baud rate, stop/start bits and parity bit configuration registers.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Ian

You might like to check this site which has source code in C for a AN910 type
programmer using a chip with a uart.

Hi,

the Baudrate for AVR-Prog is 19200 8N1, but the Appnote 910 has a wrong baudrate-calculation. If you are using an chip with uart it is not a problem for you.

Bye tmo

Appnote 910 ISP programmer is designed for the AT90S1200.
As you probably already know, the 1200 doesn't have a UART on board and consequently, there is no UART code in the source code.
The serial data implementation is handled in software, rather than UART hardware.
Or,have I misunderstood your question ?
