Anyone tried it?
I did. At least I tried the compiler, not the simulator.

Compiler seems good, but its data types seem to be missing signed integers and strings. Or I misread. I downloaded/played a bit. It generated good code. The config files for AVRs is missing most of the later AVRs such as the mega32USB. I did add ASM inline and get a teensyAVR board w/mega32USB to blink its LED.

Add-on costs, small, for type longs, and for support of functions and procedures.

Weird.

It's IDE is well done. Just misses the mark, I would say. Too bad.

How can anyone call it BASIC without having strings!

I saw string constants (quotes) as parameters for library routines, but I didn't see the type "string" nor the string handling library functions. But maybe I overlooked this.

Most odd seems to be the absence of signed integers.

THE compiler of the land of the positives?
