I had bought a ATtiny416 Xplained Nano board. Installed latest Atmel Studio online and connected the board. It is detected as mEDBG port by hardware. But not detected by Atmel studio. And the tools menu also not showing mEDBG. I have been working with PIC for 10 years. But new to AVR.

Pl. guide me.

How do you mean, "online" ?

It is detected as mEDBG port by hardware

Which "hardware" are you referring to here?

Do you mean it appears in the Windows Device Manager?

Installed AS from web site. Not the stand alone pack. So it can download whatever it needs.

Hardware means the PC's device manager.

Thank you.

I am having the same issue as above.  The link provided went to a page with much useful information, but not the stated document.  Is there a way to get Atmel studio 7.0 to recognize the ATtiny416 XPLAIN board?

Thank you
