Hi,

Lastly I found that Atmel changed Line of the zigbit modules (all of them are based on the MCU with integrated radio)
I am designing device which will be completely inside of the metal case - and I wanted to move to outside only antenna.
With current modules it seems to be impossible to do (it seems that all of them has antenna integrated on the PCB.

Do you have any suggestions what can I do ?

Best regards

Przemek

All of them have a connector for the external antenna. It is a switch connector, so as soon as you plug in your external antenna, on-board antenna is disabled.

Thanks for the answer.

On the main web-page it is written that this module has:
- RF test connector
So this was a reason for my question.

Yes, this is confusing. There nothing special about that connector. It is used for testing, but can be used in final devices as well. At least that's how I understand it. It would not make much sense to put a relatively expensive connector on each module if it could not be used by customers.
