Just installed the 7.0.2542 update and now having problems with Atmel START. If I choose "Re-configure Atmel Start Project" from the Project menu and make changes and try to Generate Project, as I have done thousands of times with 7.0.2397 and previous versions, it generates a message saying something about XC8 not being installed and completely crashes.

I do not want XC8, I use gcc and nowhere in my project is there a mention of XC8.

Tried to install 7.0.2397 again and it won't let me.

Any ideas how to fix this or am I stuck with uninstalling the whole thing and start all over again with installing 7.0.2397.
