Hello,

if I look at the following linecard:

http://www.msc.de/download/atmel...

then I can see, that the ATmega1281 is not longer mentioned,
of the chips with 8k RAM only the ATmega1280,
ATmega2561 and ATmega2560 appear.

Does this mean, there won't be a pin compatible replacement for the ATmega128 with 8k RAM?

Regards:

Uwe

'1281 is still on Atmel's "line card":
http://www.atmel.com/dyn/product...
:)

As '2560 & '2561 have appeared at the distributors, I assume the rest of the product line will follow at some point. When...? Who knows.

You can put lipstick on a pig, but it is still a pig.

I've never met a pig I didn't like, as long as you have some salt and pepper.

I haven't heard anything about canceling the m1281. But I don't know anything about the production schedule either.

I have even seen the first ATmega1281V a few days ago. ;-)
