Hello,

I want to buy an ATEVK1100 and got a good offer from farnell.
But I don't won't to get a board with an ES (engineering sample) version of the CPU.

Did anybody buy this board from farnell and can tell me which revision of the CPU he got?

Thanks!

How about asking Farnell? So that you are sure you get the correct revision.

EVK1100 with es parts are not produced anymore since a long time... so except if Farnell has a very old stock, i don't expect any problems!

I did, but they said:

die Frage ist leider zu speziell, hierzu können wir keine Auskunft geben.
Bitte kontaktieren Sie den Hersteller, eventuell erhalten Sie dort die benötigte Information.

Your question is too specifically, please ask Atmel.

In the worst case, the ES version can be replaced with the real one. Works fine.

Hi,
I have bought the EVK1100 in January 2009, the micros are marked 32UC3A0512-U. I think that nowadays the ES revision is just history.

Hello,

I finally got my board from farnell, and got a device marked with -U, too.

It is the revision I.

Why is an device with the revision I marked with -U?

That's strange.

Still I am very happy.
