Posted there as I'm seeing it in a SAM R21 project - but noted here as I don't know if this problem just affects the R21, or other parts also...

Top Tips:

  1. How to properly post source code - see: https://www.avrfreaks.net/comment... - also how to properly include images/pictures
  2. "Garbage" characters on a serial terminal are (almost?) invariably due to wrong baud rate - see: https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/serial-communication
  3. Wrong baud rate is usually due to not running at the speed you thought; check by blinking a LED to see if you get the speed you expected

Did anyone ever find out how to fix this?  I am having an almost identical problem but cannot figure out how to get it not to try to compile those files twice.

Thanks,

ramlco

Hi awneil and ramlco.

I think that people from atmel and etc answer only the easy questions.

The "ASF" is like religion. You can not say anything but for it. If you have a problem it is your fault.

P.S. atmel was advertising ASF in the front page. This is a joke.
