I've searched the site for this information and cannot find the answer.  I want to add a few new keywords to the list and cannot find where

to make the modifications.  I saw tutorial where the files exist for AS4 but not AS7.  I would appreciate if someone would point be to the

which file to modify.

Thanks

Jim

Is this one of those things that's inherited from MS Visual Studio - so not specific to Atmel Studio?

Top Tips:

  1. How to properly post source code - see: https://www.avrfreaks.net/comment... - also how to properly include images/pictures
  2. "Garbage" characters on a serial terminal are (almost?) invariably due to wrong baud rate - see: https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/serial-communication
  3. Wrong baud rate is usually due to not running at the speed you thought; check by blinking a LED to see if you get the speed you expected

I thought so too.

According to my internet searches, if the user creates a text file named 'usertype.dat' with additional keywords and storing the file in the location C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 14.0\Common7\IDE, then upon opening Visual Studio (or AS7 in our case) choose Tools –> Options –> Fonts and Colors, there is supposed to be a "User Keywords" item listed int the Display Items list.  It didn't work for me.

So, here I am... poking and hoping.

Has anyone had any better luck than me trying to do this?

Thanks

Jim
