Some good news at last.

Unlike AS5.1 and AS6 Beta, AS6 Release revision does correctly report the MCU revision letter on all devices I have been able to try.

Amazing!!

Seems someone has been at work.

Yes, this was a target for the release due to a "customer request" - did you file a bug for it?

I suspect you already knew that I DID file a bug for it :-)

AS6 reports flash size for SAM3XEH as 320 Kbytes, correct value is 512 Kbytes.

Detected Device
Device signature 0x286E0A60
JTAG id 0x4BA00477
Revision A
Datasheet Information
ATSAM3X8H
CPU ARM CORTEX M3
Flash size 320 Kbytes
SRAM size 96 Kbytes
VCC range N/A
Maximum speed N/A

In AS6 click on Datasheet for ATSAM3X8H - of course you get page not found.

which file do I need to edit ?

The datasheet for the SAM3X is located here:
http://www.atmel.com/Images/doc1...

I've no idea what the web team is doing, I'm not even going to try to defend the current site structure, usability or completeness. That said, if you wouldn't mind, please file bugs for everything you encounter here:

http://asf.atmel.com/bugzilla/en...

And I promise they will be looked at. I checked the SAM3X related part files but couldn't find any relevant values (it looks like the "Address Space" node is related, but I'm not sure how). If you put it in the Bugzilla above one of the Tools team will be able to tell you.

Thanks Dean, filed a bug reprot.

I checked the relevant device file and the size numbers therein appear to be correct, I don't know how it comes up with the wrong flash size.

I am reasonably certain, I am not the only one who does not understand the current site structure which was touted as making it easy to find things, not in my experience. During the change a while back a LOT of links where broken, a side effect that was not considered. It is embarrasing.
