Is it just me or do others see an emerging pattern of Atmel doing less and less, eventually nothing with UC3
Has UC3 been delegated to be a USB chip on Arduino Uno and Arduino ARM and not much else.
ARM has all the development effort, well designed EK that you can actually get at the pins etc, plus continuing serious effort behind it from Atmel.
May help to explain why Studio 6 was released straight after AS5.1 and why Studio 5 is suddenly so important to them.
The press release from Atmel regarding cooperating on Arduino ARM does mention UC3, looking back now it seems that was only for a USB interface and NOTHING else.
UC3C has no serious EK.
After waiting many weeks for a reply from Atmel store;
"We have been informed that the development of the 32UC3C2-XPLD has been stopped and that it will not become available for sale. Sorry about that"
