Can'use my Atmel account credentials, since the encrypted USB stick with my passwords is not with me ATM. Can't download using bogus guest credentials, it seems. Hate to give my email address again to Atmel and risk being multiply spammed.

Apart from saying again that there is one or several extremely stupid persons somewhere in the Atmel offices,

anyone know of a "direct backdoor" to the download?

I know there was one posted here for the beta or an earlier version of Studio. I'm hoping there is one for the RTM of Studio 7...

I'm looking for the full "off-line installer", not the small online one (will d/l once over phone and possibly install on multiple machines).

No guarantees, but if we don't report problems they won't get much of  a chance to be fixed! Details/discussions at link given just above.

Isn't that what is usually said? :)

Note that it is also possible to 'generate' an offline install using the webinstaller, by adding -layout <cache dir> when running the installer. It will then cache all the needed packages to the directory (but not install anything).

Johan,

If all else fails log in as me. MyAtmel log in is my email address (that you know) and the password is the same as I used on the one.com account I once gave you details of ;-)

I'm cool. I figured out my userid, and did a password reset. Downloaded and installed.

So far (just poking around for half an hour) AS 7 looks good. LwMesh - with example projects - available in ASF!

Thanks anyway!
