Hello,

So i'm haveing some trouble..

I'm using an analog mux to switch the pins needed when doing ISP programming. i believe they are pins PE0 and PE1 (i don't remember off hand).

Anyway, i'm switching between them because I need those pins for other things. I can't have them as programming pins only.

But.. the problem is.. i can't program. I just get errors.. i check the Mux and it works as it should, the programmer cable is good (i used 3 different cables, that worked with other mega128 boards)

i'm just looking fr suggestions.. the Oscillator i'm using also works fine.. i checked it with an O-scope.. the only thing that i think is possible is the chip itself...

any thoughts?

A schematic, part numbers, links to datasheets, etc. would be helpful.

Who's controling the MUX - the micro or some separate circuitry?
