What have you tried?

Where are you stuck?

Why would displaying ADC data be different from any other data?

Top Tips:

  1. How to properly post source code - see: https://www.avrfreaks.net/comment... - also how to properly include images/pictures
  2. "Garbage" characters on a serial terminal are (almost?) invariably due to wrong baud rate - see: https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/serial-communication
  3. Wrong baud rate is usually due to not running at the speed you thought; check by blinking a LED to see if you get the speed you expected

i found a file that guides me through displaying on ST7735 . So i learnt somethings out of it. But i am not aware if i can use the same code as that of 16X2 LCD module to convert values from potentiometer and display it.

No: It's a TFT controller - "16X2 LCD modules" use an HD44780 controller (or equivalent)

to convert values from potentiometer

Converting analogue values (whether from a potentiometer or anything else) has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with the display controllerST7735, HD44780, or whatever.

so the logic to convert the values is still the same. and i just use display function to display it. Is that right??
