Hi Freaks,

I am working on some projects and in one of them, I accidently shorted the ADC1 input pin of the M48 to GND.

VDD -----+-
5V |
           |
           /
           \ R1= 10K
           /
           |
           |
           | To pin 24 (ADC1) m48
           +---------------+
           |
           /
\ R2= 10K This was shorted to GND
           /
           |
          GND

I know I have R1 between supply and GND but will this damage my M48 ADC input? I haven't tried working with the M48 yet as I am not sure if I will damage anything more.

Thanks.

Should be NO problem. 0V is a legal ADC input.

Ok thanks, Jim. That makes me feel much better. I will now try powering up my M48.
