Hi guys,

During a new design I am planning to use an RF 433MHz Key Fob transmitter. The supplier tells me that they are coming in three types, depending on the transmitted data format.

1. HCS301.300.200
2. 2262.2260
3. 1527.2240.HT6P20B.HT6P20D

Unfortunately, the supplier cannot give me any information of what is the meaning of each format nor any explanation, because he is not technical.

Does anybody have the experiense on this issue to help me?

What is the meaning/difference of these 3 types? Are they software protocols, hopping data protocols etc. ?

Has anybody developed something similar to help me on the decoding code?

Thanks in advance.

Michael.

Thank you.

I have already found an AP Note from Microchip that describes the functionality of the Code Hopping Encoder (using HCS series ICs) and Decoder using a simple PIC16C54 micro.

The AP Note is the AN663.

Thanks.

Michael.
