Hello,
i want to try my PWM signals on 12 volts.
What transistor are you using to control 12v,10-15 A systems with the output of an avr at 5v.
Thanks

This may be of interest. It will handle 20 amps.

Alwelch has pointed you in approximately right direction.
The part number he has sugested is not quite general purpose. IRF like ST and a number of other POWERMOSFET manufacturers have a range of devices.
Look for the so called "digital" variants which have a gate source characteristic compatible with 5 volt digital signal levels.
Namely the devices will be switched at 5 volt gate to source signal.
Aren't IR's Logic level Fets called IRLxxx

According to the data sheet for the part I posted you could run in on 5V VCC if you enable the pull up in the AVR
Thnaks for reply
i'm studying the BUK555 and the BUK100
Do you know them?
But i'm newbee about MOSFET....
I am also looking the irfb4620pbf
& irf z44n that i found cool and powerfull...
How can i recognize a mos wiwh i can control with my atmel's output?
edit : ok bingo ifrl!!
Thanks
YO
I order irl z44n,
I'll say you what i think about it..;
OK it work well
just with "pulldown" resistor.
