Does anyone know where this can be downloaded from?

http://www.atmel.com/tools/AVRSOFTWAREFRAMEWORK.aspx still points to 3.7.3. Atmel Studio 6.1 was out in April.

Is it available by some version control software earlier than it is released on the Atmel website? The standalone version release always seems to lag somewhat.

Kind regards,
Ian.

I'll check with the maintainer and see what's happened to the new version.

Maintainer says it was an oversight, and that the website will be updated soon. In the meantime I can see if I can send you a standalone copy if you wish.

Thanks a lot Dean, it's no problem I can wait.
Cheers,
Ian.

Hi Dean, still appears to have not been updated. Could I please get a copy from you?
Kind regards,
Ian.

Please add to that the release notes. Seems like a release process review is in order.

I've poked and prodded, and now it's been uploaded to:

https://spaces.atmel.com/gf/proj...

Unfortunately you'll need to register for Atmel Spaces to download it - but at least it's available.

I noticed that the newest version of asf is 3.9.1 now.

Where are the release notes so I can what has changed? I can't seem to find them.

I'm not sure (our maintainer who generates the release notes is off in the US on a conference) but as far as I am aware it is almost exclusively wireless and NPI (new device) additions over 3.8.*.

Can't say for certain since the wireless team is located elsewhere, but if you let me know what chip(s) are missing support I can tell you if they are in the latest release.

3.8.1 is here:

The new 3.9 release will be uploaded as soon as our maintainer comes back from a US conference, most likely early next week.
