stk500 with atmega328

hi all,
I have a simple question. Does STK500 supports ATmega328 in studio4 without STK504. i need this stk504?

You can plug a 328 into SCKT3200A2 on the main STK500 board - no need for a daughter board.

I was going to suggest you should have seen this in the STK500 user manual but it's true that it only lists 328P and not the plain 328 for SCKT3200A2. However the "P" is only a difference in a few power saving features, nothing to do with the external interface/pinout that would affect which socket you can use.
