Hello friends,

I am designing one project for my client. Outcome is Metal coil detector for food procession industry.

Coil has one primary coil, one reference coil and one secondary coil. Input is give to primary coil and output is taken from secondary coil.

Till now I have put Capacitor in parallel with coil making LC oscillator using Transistor. And I am getting good output.

Now , my problem is that I have to give variable frequency to coil. SO I have removed capacitor. I have used AD9832 as freq generator , And I am getting freq.

But I am not able to operate coil through it. Even I tried to amplify it to 10v peak.

Please help to complete this project.

Your description is very vague. Lots of things could be wrong:
1) Are you putting the output of the AD9832 directly on the coil? It probably won't be able to drive such a low impedance.
2) What frequency are you going for? Coils/inductors have frequency limits.
3) What kind of sensor do you have at the output coil? There is impedance transformation through your transformer.
