Does anyone know of a cheap color LCD module that I can get somewhere in the UK, Germany, Denmark or at least in the EU. Unfortunately I don't have time to wait for delivery from china (cheap ones on ebay)! :(

Resolution not that important but I would like at least around 160x120 maybe, less can do it if it's really cheap! Colors, at least 256 colors, more is better, but not really needed right now.
Interface is not that important, parallel or serial, both are fine although I prefer serial for the simplicity of the interface.
No flex-PCB, I can't work with that (for this project)! So it has to be a regular PCB with solder pads, pins or headers.

Price range 0-40 EUR approximately.

Displaytech may be a fit with the "Integrated TFT Driver Boards"; they have a Denmark rep and a EU distributor.

Displays from old model Nokias are often popular. They are readily available as spare parts and generally have an SPI interface.

I know, it has a flex, but it's low cost !
This one http://www.elecfreaks.com/store/... has a regular 0.1" grid connector.
DHL is quite fast and not that expensive @ elecfreaks

Bought two of these on Amazon, received in six days from stock in California. Not much better than China at 8500km vs 8900km.

SainSmart 3.2" TFT LCD Display+Touch Panel+PCB adapter SD Slot for Arduino 2560 US$18.99.

Shirley there is something similar available by European vendors for the Arduino...

Thank you for your ideas, unfortunately I have to pay 25% VAT for the total value including shipping and a $30 fee at the local post office, for orders from outside the EU (above $13 including shipping)!

So unless it's extremely cheap (below $13 including shipping) I'm not going to buy outside the EU :) - That and shipping time are my main concernes!

I am trying to recall the name of a German company selling Nokia displays, including an adapter to 0.1 Zoll ;) ..... if it floats up, I'll post the link.

Thanks all, I finally managed to google something decent I think!

I ended up ordering this one:
http://www.hobbytronics.co.uk/lc...
2.2", 226*176 pixels, 18-bit colours, 3-wire SPI bus, almost exactly 40 EUR including shipping! :)

Now I just hope I get it before new years (or even christmas if I'm really lucky) so I have something to play with for the holidays!
