Hello,

This is an adapted visual scheme for Programmers Notepad 2 to highlight the AVR assembler files syntax.

Carlos.

It's probably better to also supply this to the author of PN2, or at
least to the WinAVR maintainers for inclusion in future releases.

Even when it's good enough for me, this patch is just a domestic toy in his current state. In my opiniopn is very limited to be included as part of the WinAVR toolset or the PN application itself. A lexical parser has to be implemented to analyze the assembler syntax: not only the mnemonics and registers, but also the comments, directives, built-in functions, etc. Atmel assembler syntax, GNU assembler, IAR,...

Regards. Carlos.

Still, it's better than nothing at all, so I'm going to try and include it in the next WinAVR release. :)
