good day to all,
please i need your help with respect to these two xmega256A3 µC:

1--ATXMEGA 256A3 AU0945
2--ATXMEGA 256A3 AU1135

I wish to know if there is any major difference between the two µCs.i have already used the first one(ATXMEGA 256A3 AU0945)in a project and everything is working fine. Now i made a new board with the same layout as my first project, the only thing that changed is the ATXMEGA 256A3 AU0945 which was replaced with ATXMEGA 256A3 AU1135,all other components remain the same as in first project.
Surprisingly, the code that is working in my first project is not working in the new board i made.i do not know if the difference in the number(AU0945/AU1135) of the µC is responsible for this problem or if the problem lies in my hardware.i would be grateful if somebody could help me out.thank you for the usual support.best regards.

0945 means week 45 year 2009
1135 means week 35 year 2011

Normally it is a production code to identify when the IC was made. I would expect that any real hardware changes are noted differently.

thank you very much Mr jan_dc and lennart.i really appreciate your sense of support. Now that i know the code represents the year when the IC was made,i will check my hardware again.
with respect to the fuses,i did not make any changes.i just transfered the program to the µC after i finished with the hardware.i did not make any changes to the program since i have used the program on my first project before, and it was okay.
once again thank you for the support.
