I want to simulate UART for AVR.
Can anyone suggest an avr simulator which works with Atmel Studio 6 and Windows 7.
Not one that works with AS6 (but will happily accept the output of the build) is AS4 with Hapsim or perhaps VMLab. Both offer simulation of and external serial terminal.
Note however that 99% of the time the only thing wrong with UART code is the speed and often simulators don't "police" this.
To "simulate" a UART, you need much more than a traditional simulator.
Traditional simulators do not deal with outside world very well. Yes, the simulator can load all of the UART registers, but it does not create a simulated output. Or, worse, no input. Instead, you need something like VMLab that also simulates the external world (at the virtual time scale of the simulated micro).
