We are a couple of people developing on the same project. Every time any of us update changes from subversion, i get a conflicted .cproj file because info about the JTAGICE tools are included in this file.

In a Visual Studio C# project, options that are machine specific are stored in a .csproj.user file.

Can we split these debugger details into a separate file?

I guess this is a very valid use case, and thanks for reporting. Unfortunately you can't split these details as far as i know, for now

Slightly cynical half-half OT remark: Relax. Even Microsoft has failed getting this right from at least Visual Studio 6 (that came out together with Windows 95 IIRC) until Visual Studio 2008. So, the big elephant has spent at least 13 years not getting this right.

As of January 15, 2018, Site fix-up work has begun! Now do your part and report any bugs or deficiencies here

No guarantees, but if we don't report problems they won't get much of  a chance to be fixed! Details/discussions at link given just above.
