avr32studio + JTAGICE mkII + EVK1101

Hello!

I'm new to AVR32 family and here's the problem:
I have EVK1101 board with AVR32UC3B0256-UES, JTAGICE mkII and AVR32 studio 2.6 installed. JTAGICE is added to targets, device=AT32UC3B0256, board=EVK1101.
Any operation with JTAGICE results in the following error:

Action failed due to mismatch between target and detected MCU.
Detected part UC3B0256ES differs from specified part UC3B0256

AT32UC3B0256ES is not in the available devices list.
What can be done to fix the problem?

I would contact the Atmel support. Perhaps the list can be patched in a text file or registry.

I remember seeing an application note (darned if I can find it now) on Atmel's website talking about later versions of AVR32 Studio dropping support for the ES (engineering sample) devices. The app note in question did contain instructions and files on how to add support for the ES devices back in.

Contact Atmel tech support. I'm sure they can point you to the info/files you need.
