Hello,

I designed an eye-tracking system about 35 years ago when I worked for Xerox Research (UK). I used electrodes around the eye to determine the direction of gaze and a camera with a fibre-optic bundle connected to a head-mounted lens. Cameras in those days were too big to be mounted directly on the head. I generated a white spot which was superimposed on the video image.
