Step 2: Ask better questions that actually give detail about what you're trying to do

Mitel became Zarlink, I think.

Zarlink's data sheet is Here .

Of course the data sheet is dated 2005, and neither Mouser nor Digi-Key list it...

Edit: And the entire discussion on DAA access, uC protection, and phone line signal limits, and protection, is missing.

IIRC some of the old phone dialer data sheets use to at least touch on this info.
