Hello

I can't find the latest Software Framework. I specifically need the Lwip example without FreeRTOS. But I cant Find it. The old adress http://asf.atmel.no now redirects to a breif explanation of the ASF on atmels website.

I know the example used to be in http://asf.atmel.no/avr32/servic... but now that adress gives me a "not found" page

¿Where can i find the latest ASF or the Lwip Example without freertos?

Thanks.

Atmel stuffed it away in Studio 5. Non Studio 5 users must not have it any more. I would have preferred they stuffed it away in the trash can, but well, one can't have everything.

Stealing Proteus doesn't make you an engineer.

Standalone version of the ASF is going to be uploaded on atmel.com.
I think there was some stability issue in the non-freeRTOS version so it has been removed until fixed.

Hey Thanks for your answer.

Do you think is there any way to get the previous version even if it is unstable?

Thank you.

I remember that old versions of toolchains and 32Studio can be found on atmel.no/beta_ware but i don't remember the URL.

You can get 2.2.0 and 2.0.0 here:
http://asf.atmel.no/readme.html

Perhaps you can use lwIP directly from its' project site: http://savannah.nongnu.org/proje...

More info at: http://www.sics.se/~adam/lwip/

did anyone use lwip without freertos and hot pluggin is working?
When the ethernet cable is plugged, I switch on the device and initialize lwip I can send and receive UDP packages. When the ethernet is plugged in afther initialization I can't reveice any UDP package.

Thanks

I use lwIP with FreeRTOS, which seem very robust.

I had to re-write the ASF MACB driver, though. It does not handle cable plug/unplug. It apparently is intended only as demo code. For real production you will need a state-driven approach that gracefully handles normal events like power loss on a ethernet switch or cable unplug & re-plug.
