STK600 issues.

Feel free to move this if its not the correct section for this...

My STK600 has started blinking red/orange for no apparent reason. I believe this means it requires a firmware upgrade however when attempting to do that I get a "Programing failed on page 1" error, then "Error setting address 0" then the STK600 resets.

Any idea how I can solve this? I have an JTAG mkII available If I need to manually re flash the firmware on the board AVR... but I'm not sure where to find that firmware to do so if required.

did you check the studio's help and try a manual update.

there hass been a recent thread with almost the same error message ( it was on page20 that failed) perhaps try and find this. it is not more then a week old. from the head a working suggestion was done there

I did go though the help, there doesn't seem to be any data on the red/orange blink error I am getting. I did try a manual update but to the same end.

Correction. Red/orange means the stk600 is in upgrade mode. http://support.atmel.no/knowledg...
