Hi,
I need to join two points to activate a TV remote controller, however, I need an atmega328 to "tell" the electronic switch when to join both points. Just by applying voltage to the switch.
What do you recommend me? Please specify the model so I can look for it on my local electronic store.

How about the venerable "4066" CMOS switch? It comes in 74HC4066, 74C4066, CD4066, and probably several other versions.

Are you actually sending an analog signal or just a logic through this switch? If you are just sending data a 74LS00 gating circuit will do the job just as easily,
if analog Jim's suggestion is best.
i am not pretty sure, but will a bare transistor with proper biasing suffice in this case?
It is quite possible that you can. In fact you may not even need need a transistor, two diodes might be able to do the job. But we need more information about the circuitry that you are trying to connect together!

Most tv controllers scan the keyboard as a matrix. so the 4066 works a treat in these circumstances. Make sure you join to AVR 0V to the controller 0V.
Yes, I believe Kartman has figured out what you are trying to do, emulate a remote control switch.
As suggested 4066 or a small relay http://www.futurlec.com/RelDip.shtml will do the job.
If you are looking at a scan matrix, one side will be a output (scan line) and one input (sense line). So if you connect the two lines to the AVR, and pull in sense line low when the scan line goes low there is a good chance it will work (make sure to share the same Gnd).
Make sure that your output is an input when not used, otherwise you will "kill" the matrix.
