Does anyone know why the Mega323 is different from the Mega128/16/8 chips? The speed of the Mega323 is only 8 MHz. Is it using a different fabrication process than the other new Mega chips? And what does the extra '3' in the name indicate?

Has Atmel actually released these parts to the distributors?
What is the pricing and availability?

If you look at the atmel product overview page, they mentioned when these parts
will become available. Link as below:

FINALLY!
I just spoke with the Uk distributer, I KNOW samples are available for the MEGA128 now, production quantities due october!

Ive ordered my sample now..

I think ATmega32 will run at 16MHz like ATmega128,16,8.
ATmega323 is probably built with the same fabrication process of ATmega163.

Atmel, can you confirm this??
