AVR32 Linux project using AVR32 Studio on Windows

Did they ever fix the windows version of AVR32 Studio so it could generate Linux executables? I looked at the 2.5 release notes and didn't see anything.

Surely there is no technical reason why it can't just change some compiler/linker command line options, use the avr32-linux includes and libraries, and use a gdbserv running on the target AVR32 board instead of the gddproxy used by the JTAG.

The linux include files have files with differen case but the same names go that generates often a conflict.
Windows sees file.h as the same as fIle.c. But there are more issues as well. Someone else could probably tell more. :)
