Hi,

Does anybody know the current consumption of the JTAG interface in the xmega64A3? I'm testing the power-save sleep mode current consumption, and have to subtract the JTAG current from what I measure.

(I guess I will more or less kill the device if I disable the JTAG. I have no other debug tools).

You can disable the jtag interface in software so you should be able to mesure the curent yourself. After a reset the interface will be re-enabled. All the nessasary code is in AVR1010 the low power app note.

Thanks! I thought this would kill the JTAG interface forever, but now I see it's back after a reset.

BTW: The answer to my question is "just a couple of uA".
