The schematic on Atmel's website for the EVK1100 still shows a "ES" part. Have these boards been updated to use the production part, and hopefully fixed the circuit error on one of the RS232 interfaces that the old board had?

I have an old EVK1100, but am hoping to get an udpated board from Digikey.

Thanks.

Hello,
what RS232 interface error did you find?

On UART0 they have CTS wired as an output and RTS as an input. CTS is an input and RTS is an output (as on UART1).

So, nobody knows if these boards have been updated? I wonder if the fine folks at digikey would check the CPU part number for me.

All EVK1100 kits are upgraded with newer UC3A parts but the RS232 bugs is still present.

You can also look at the www.atmel.com/evk1105

Thanks. The non-ES CPU is the main thing. The RS232 driver on Uart0 isn't fast enough anyway, so I'll just remove the 0 ohm resistors and use my own.
