Hello all,
I use avr32studio 2.30 and when I updated my Ubuntu to 9.10 it works not as before. E.g. when I use the Find/Replace window and click on Find, nothing happens. I have to use the Return button to let it work. It is then not possible to click another button. First you have to click between the buttons and then the other button, then Return again.

Has anybody an idea, whats wrong here? In Ubuntu 9.04 all worked perfect.

Thanks,
Frank

It's a bug in Eclipse https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=291257

you could try starting eclipse from cmdline with

GDK_NATIVE_WINDOWS=1 && avr32studio

It appears that the problem is actually in GTK as it's not backwards compatible. There are similar reports for Fedora 12. It appears that the problem has been solved for Eclipse 3.5.2 which should be available in February.

There's been quite some discussion if it's GTK or GTK-apps that's the problem. GTK did change and the change broke quite a few apps apart from eclipse. Maybe it ended up to be a GTK bug in the end, I haven't checked lately :-)
