AVRfreaks will experience some downtime on Saturday, oct.17, 13:00-14:00 CET, due to scheduled maintenance.

It's GMT+10 here. Before our daylight savings switch a week ago the downtime was from 8:00-8:15 each day, which wasn't a drama. Now it's at 9:00-9:15, which is right before my morning classes when I really want to check out the latest posts.

I think I'm an addict; you never appreciate how much you use something until it stops working. When it's broken, of course, you then spend the downtime compulsively mashing the refresh button until all's well again.

Pity the downtime is short - that means no major improvements. Probably just a shift between physical servers.

No guarantees, but if we don't report problems they won't get much of  a chance to be fixed! Details/discussions at link given just above.

Anyway I hope the "maintenance" does not change this forum to the Atmel Qtouch forum style.

Struth...it takes a day or 2 before whatever you post comes up in the forum, everything posted must be checked by the ASS (Atmel Secret Service :? not relation to the Assembler Secret Society)

Nothing like what happens here with almost instant replies. What's going to happen to the poor people from some parts of the world that MUST have a reply NOW? No THIS IS URGENT!!!! posts there.
