I have added a sample C program to the wiki to blink a pin at 1Hz. It can be cut and pasted into AVR32Studio and should compile with the standard toolchain but you will need to be running a 2.6.27 kernel or later.

I hope this helps anyone struggling to use GPIO under the sysfs.

There is also a project in the project sections here with a couple of examples and a binary.

It is called "NGW100 Led Blink C program AVR32".

BTW Squidgit is a f**king legend and I want everyone to give him a big thumbs up for his fantastic contributions to this community. Keep up the good work Squidgit!
