I seemed to have this working before, but...
I was trying to build Peter Fleury's LCD demo.
I put the lcd.h header file in the header folder of AVR-GCC window,(the code is all there in the code window).
When I build the project I get;
"lcd.h : NO such file or directory found."
But I can see that it is right there in the header folder....
davidcb Does the project use an external makefile? Look in Project Settings menu, Configuration Options. If so, it doesn't matter what you put in the header folder, the header file has to be where the makefile expects it to be.

Edit: Actually I think even if you don't use a makefile the file still has to be in a directory where GCC expects to find it. Adding an existing header to the project doesn't automatically put it in the correct directory as far as I can see.
