I haven't got any real hardware yet, so while I'm waiting for it to arrive I'm trying to run my application under the AVR32 Studio simulator.
I created a small application with a main() function that calls the initialization code in another module. I compile it, link it, and run it under the simulator and everything is fine. The simulator stops at main() like it should.
When I compile my larger application and start the debugger (with exactly the same configuration settings as the smaller application), it doesn't stop at main() but seems to run wildly. When I click on the "Suspend" button, I can't even see what it's been doing. When I try to display the AVR32 registers, the window is blank, and it doesn't show anything in the disassembly window.
Anyone know what may be going on here? This is driving me crazy. I'd like to get as much of the application debugged using the simulator before the hardware arrives, but if I can't get the application to work in the simulator I'm lost.
