'Connect toolbar' buttons all showing AUTO

I'm running AVR Studio v4.13 SP2 build 571 on Vista Ultimate SP1

All of a sudden, all the buttons in the 'connect' toolbar are showing the same text 'AUTO' as soon as I load any project.

If the AVRISP mkII programmer is connected, the 'program' dialog shows up. If I cancel, there is a message in the box saying STK500: Auto failed.

This is driving me nuts. Any help appreciated. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling AVR Studio. :(

Thanks, I'll give the new version a shot.

If that doesn't fix it, and there are no more suggestions, I'll go back to WindowsXP. :P

I was thinking that this is a settings issue - there must be a setting somewhere that turns the behaviour back to what it was before. It worked fine for several weeks, after all. I tried looking through the registry but that's a bit out of my league. :(

I'm surprised too that there is no button that restores all settings to defaults, and even more miffed that uninstalling and reinstalling didn't fix it.

Thanks. Installing the new version fixed the problem. :D

Seems Vista remembers settings even after a program is uninstalled, so reinstalling the same version doesn't change anything, but installing a different version did the trick.
