Freaks,
The AVRTutorials forum encompases several types of posts, including tutorials (both hardware and software) as well as small code samples, manuals and whatnot. In order to make the forum as accessable as possible all posts have "tags", small predefined keywords in brackets on the title to indicate what is contained inside the thread. Please see the other sticky in this forum, "Format of Subject Title".
If you are looking for something in this forum these tags help greatly. In the search options. I'll show some examples. All searches should use the "Search for all terms" and be in the AVR Tutorials forum only.
 You are looking for a code sample in the C language for driving a Butterfly LCD.
Easy. In the search options, type in "[CODE] [C] Butterfly LCD" (no quotes). Voila, perfect match.
 You want to find a code sample for any language, which uses a speaker to create beeps.
Similar to above, except the language tag ("[C]") isn't needed. Seach for "[CODE] Speaker".
 You've just bought a great new STK500, and want to see if there is a tutorial for using the hardware aspect of it.
The keyword to use here is "[TUT] [HARD] STK500".
 You want to find anything to do with the AVRButterfly.
Just don't use any tags. Searching for "Butterfly" or "AVRButterfly" will yield the results you want.
Tags can be mixed and matched in order to find what you are looking for even when the number of posts increases to several pages long - as long as the tags arn't contradictory. For example, "[CODE] [TUT]" contradicts each other and should return no matches.
This is my way of keeping the forum organised. Please use this thread to discuss this method but please keep it on-topic.
