Hello everyone,

I'm interested in learning about AVR development in Linux. However, I can't decide what programming board to get. I would like to be able to [program a wide array of AVR's (atmega's and atiny's), and I need a USB interface and compatibility with Linux.

An stk500 would be an obvious choice, but its serial interface...

So I was just wondering what people with more experience suggest for me to start programming AVR's.

Thanks!

You could try the stk500 and make a serial->usb converter with some ftdi chips or something.
